Prospectors RV Resort Policy

Welcome to Prospectors RV Resort!

Your enjoyment of the pleasant atmosphere associated with resort living is our prime responsibility. The following Resort Policy has been established for your comfort and security and for the convenience of all of our guests.

CHECK-IN – Check-in time is 3pm Colorado time, unless other arrangements have been made with our office.

CHECK-OUT – Check-out time is 12pm Colorado time for RV sites and tent sites and 11am for Cabins. Depending on reservations for incoming guests, you may be able to pre-arrange a late check out through our office.

QUIET HOURS are 10PM to 7AM – Please do not use generators during these hours and keep the noise levels at a minimum. Please do not expose your neighbors to excessive noise at any time.

RETURNED CHECK FEE – A fee of $25 will be charged for returned checks.

CANCELLATONS – There is a $25 cancellation fee for every cancelled reservation. Reservations that are cancelled less than two weeks from the reservation date will not be refunded.  Please allow two to three weeks for your refund.

Same day cancellations will be charged for entire stay.

CABIN RENTALS – All rental cabins are non-smoking rooms. NO PETS are allowed in the cabins at any time. You are required to clean all of your used dishes before checkout. You are not required to pay a damage deposit on the cabin rental. However, upon your checking-out there will be an inventory of the cabin taken to ensure all of the items remain in the cabin that were present upon before your checking in. Any items missing or damaged from our inventory will be charged to your credit card. You will be notified via email or regular mail of the items you are being charged for. By checking into the cabin you agree to these terms and conditions.

ALCOHOL/SMOKING – We promote a clean, healthy environment, so smoking is not permitted in any building. Please dispose of your butts properly. Excessive use of alcoholic beverages, and consumption by those under age 21, is prohibited.

PROPANE – May be purchased through the office during office hours only.

VEGETATION & WILDLIFE – Vegetation may not be pruned, cut or removed without written approval from Prospectors RV Resort management. Feeding of wildlife, including birds, is prohibited. (Hummingbird feeders are OK.)

PETS – Any pets exhibiting aggressive behavior are restricted from the Resort. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Do not leave pets unattended. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pet owners must pick up waste immediately. 

RV REQUIREMENTS – All RVS must be owner occupied, clean, well maintained, and have a 3” sewage hookup. Sewer connections must be sealed to comply with Fremont County health regulations. Pickup campers must remain on the pickup.

RVs must be parked in the appropriate area of your site. Sites may not be sublet. We expect you to keep your site clean and neat. Trash must be removed from the site and taken to the dumpster.

TRASH – Please use plastic garbage bags with ties to eliminate odors and insects. We do not provide disposal receptacles for oversized or hazardous items. Littering of any kind, including cigarette butts and pet waste, on the Resort premises will not be tolerated. Due to wind, weather, and animals, OUTDOOR TRASH CANS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

PICNIC TABLES – Picnic tables are provided at your site for your enjoyment, however you may not use them for maintenance work.

CLOTHESLINES – You may hang your wet bathing suits and towels within your patio area but regular clotheslines are prohibited. Please do not hang anything on the trees.

VISITORS – If you entertain visitors at the Resort, you are responsible for their conduct while on the Resort premises and are responsible for any damages incurred by them. Any guest not adhering to this visitor policy will lose all visitor privileges within the Resort. Visitors must check in at the office.

CHILDREN – Parents are fully liable and responsible for the acts and conduct of their children at all times

OUR FACILITIES - Management reserves the right to control the use of the game room, clubhouse or any other Resort facility as to hours, purpose, and conduct. Management must approve scheduling of events for Resort guests or any group thereof.

SWIMMING POOLS AND JACUZZIS – The pool and Jacuzzis are provided for registered guests only. The rules posted in the pool area are for your safety and must be observed. No glass containers permitted. Food should be limited to the patio area. Please pick up trash so critters don’t invade our pool area. A responsible adult must accompany children under 15 years of age. There is no lifeguard on duty. Please help us keep the pool area clean.

REST ROOMS, SHOWERS AND LAUNDRY ROOMS – We pride ourselves on very clean facilities, so we would appreciate your letting us know if the facilities require attention.

LIABILITY – All facilities are used at your own risk. Our equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of our registered guests. All persons using such do so at their own risk. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind, or act of God. We do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

The Resort management reserves the right to amend, revise, and add to the RV Resort Policy at any time.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE POLICIES MAY RESULT IN YOUR LEAVING THE RESORT WITH NO REFUND AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS BEING CANCELLED.

ACTIVITIES RULES AND REGULATIONS

Jump Pillow-Requires a wristband          Open 9am to 9pm

DO NOT wear your shoes on the jump pillow.  ABSOLUTELY no horse play while jumping on the Jump Pillow.  Please be courteous to others jumping on the Jump Pillow, and WATCH for little ones.  DO NOT sit on the railing surrounding the Jump Pillow.  Please make sure you remove all sharp objects from your pocket before jumping.

Peddle Cars-Requires a wristband          Available 9am to 8pm

You MUST check-out the Peddle Cars with the office before using one.  A $5 deposit is collected upon rental of the item, and is refundable only when the car is returned to the office in the time allowed.  YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK IF THE CART IS NOT RETURNED IN THE TIME YOUR WERE ALLOWED.  DO NOT take the Peddle Cars off of the property.  Keep the Peddle Cars out of the registration driveway areas and the rocked off area in front of the registration office.  Please BE CAREFUL while driving the Peddle Cars and watch for traffic on the roads.  DO NOT misuse or mistreat the Peddle Cars.

Splash Pad-Requires a wristband           Closed until May 15

Come in the office to have someone turn on the water to the park anytime during hours of operation.  DO NOT hang on or swing on the pipes, buckets, or nets and KEEP OUT of the fenced area.

Swimming Pool     Closed until May 15

ALL CHILDREN UNDER 15 MUST HAVE AN ADULT’S SUPERVISION.  There is NO lifeguard on duty.  NO DIVING allowed in the swimming pool.  Please be courteous to others swimming and little ones. NO GLASS is permitted in the Swimming Pool area. DO NOT misuse or mistreat any of the patio furniture.  Please clean up after yourself.

Hot Tub                 Open 9am to 9pm

ABSOLUTELY NO children under the age of 16 years old are allowed in the Hot Tub under any circumstances. 

Game Room            Open 9am to 9pm

Game paddles, pucks, balls, etc. must be checked out through the office.  DO NOT misuse or mistreat any of the games and/or accessories in the Game Room.  DO NOT sit drinks or food on the games or game tables.

Parents will be held responsible for their children’s actions.  ANYONE BREAKING ANY OF THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE ACTIVITIES AREAS IMMEDIATELY.
