Hi,
Just wanted to say 'Thank You' for a wonderful time. We had our family reunion at your campground and it was awesome. Everyone had a great time and we loved the cabins and the customer service. We will definitely be back next year. Expect to hear from us soon!
Thank You, Lori Owen

Prospectors RV Resort is located 9 miles west of Canon City, Colorado not far from the Royal Gorge Bridge. In fact guests of Prospector's have a fabulous view of the Royal Gorge Bridge.
Prospector's RV Resort offers something for every member of the family. We discovered something new every day during our 10 day stay in July of 2010.
The Best of Prospector's RV Resort:
The playground at Prospector's RV Resort is big. It has structures for kids of all sizes and plenty of shade for parents.
Guests of Prospector's will love the large hot tub with a beautiful view of the Royal Gorge suspension bridge at night: We were especially thankful to Mike who opened it up for us on our last night so we could enjoy it one more time before we headed home.
The splash pad at Prospector's is great for little ones.
The jump pillow was the highlight of our stay at Prospector's. Kids (of all ages) from all over the Prospector's park would gather at dusk to show off their acrobatic talents, and to play football or freeze tag on the jump pillow.
The Clubhouse at Prospector's was newly remodeled when we were there and gave us a little taste of luxury as we were doing the laundry. The kids enjoyed watching satellite television for the first time in a week and the shaded grounds offered a nice place for the kids to play on hot afternoons.
The Prospector's General Store: Prices for souvenirs were some of the best we found and food stuff was nicely priced for being 10 miles outside of town.
Mike and the staff at Prospector's RV Resort were the greatest. They were so friendly and accommodating. Mike made several calls on our behalf to inquire about area activities. He also information to our campsite and he won our kids hearts by offering them free popsicles from the store. They truly made us feel at home.
What To Know Before You Go to Prospector's RV Resort:
It is very windy there in the afternoons and some at night. If you have an awning on your RV, always put it away before you leave for the day or go to bed at night. We saw an awning destroyed by the wind when someone left it out while they were gone.
